Bones on Thames

Dr Bones is moored on the Thames, close to chez Nous at the moment. Yesterday, we popped over for supper. Bones, Boots, Steve and Wallace were just returning from a walk.

Wallace is a very ‘can do’ doggie. I was rather pleased to catch a pic of him mid canter.

Dr B. and Boots went off to guide the Rev Rattue, leaving me to be menaced by this swan.

I was very glad to see them returning through the gloom.

This morning I popped over for a cuppa (as you can see, Boots was helping).

The swan decided to make rude gestures with its foot.

Dave’s Visit

Last year, Dave Witherspoon (who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina) walked the Thames Path, and discovered The Queen’s Head.

He’s in England again at the moment, and popped into to see us again.

It was great to see him again, and as you can see, Maisie made him very welcome!

White Water

The Thames is very high at the moment. The water was thundering over the sluice yesterday.

Lechlade to Eynsham aboard the Milly M

Off from Lechlade with Maffi and Dr Bones.

We were aboard the Milly M, which amongst other things has a DECENT LOO!

And an interesting collection of fishing floats.

Dr Bones did some cleaning which was rather odd behaviour.

Here is the obligatory flower photo 😎

Was it something I said?

The river makes people behave in really odd ways!

No comment needed really…!

Dr Bones showing off again!

The end to a blissful day. Great company, sunshine, bacon sarnies, champagne and the river. Thank you Dr Bones, thank you Maffi. Please can I come along again?
