Saltdean – oh…we do like to be beside the seaside.

A couple of weekends ago I was lucky enough to have a trip down to Saltdean to visit an old friend.

It’s famous for this beautiful Lido. A few years ago there was a plan to fill in the pool, and turn the site into flats, but I’m glad to say that it’s going to be restored.

It’s a beautiful spot, and we enjoyed walking by the sea…

…watching the sunset…

…and the moon.

Tasmania is an incredibly beautiful place, and Barnbougle is one of the most stunning places I’ve ever visited.

Oh, and there’s a golf course there…

…and here are some hunky golfers :-).

We stayed on one of these lovely chalets, which are based on the huts at Brighton Beach.

This little wallaby came to visit…

…and as you can see, was very relaxed.

Even the moon was perfect.

La Luna continued…

One of the nice things about having a new laptop, is the opportunity to review and play with some old pictures. Now I’ve cleaned this up, I really like the hint of the full body of the moon, and the subtle effect of the branches.

La Luna

I took this in the afternoon, when I was out on a canal cruise to Enslow (see blog passim). After a little techical jiggery-pokery, it looks rather good.

I’ve fiddle with the contrast, slammed it into back & white and added a slight tint.
