On Monday morning we went off to the Covered Market. It’s exactly how the market in Oxford should be. No shops selling clothes and water colours, just glorious fresh, seasonal food.
Lots and lots of olives.
Four different type of globe artichoke for heavens sake!
And if you ever are in Florence, in the top tier of the market there is a very nice (and cheap!) bar. I had some excellent coffee there, and the chap who runs it has a lovely twinkle in his eye.
