Burgundy 2008 – Leaving Dover

So, there we were at Dover docks, waiting to board the ferry – and there was a man playing the sodding bagpipes! Kiss him – I wanted to lynch him!

My Collins Gem French dictionary (which I bought when I started secondary school, oh so long ago) came up trumps – the French for bagpipes is ‘cornemuse’.
